BERKELEY, Calif.—Bridget Cranley scored two of her three goals in the third quarter for the No. 12 San José State women’s water polo team as the Spartans fell to No. 4 California, 21-7, Sunday at the Brigitte Donner Daws Memorial Invitational.
- Cranley got the Spartans on the scoreboard with a 6-on-5 goal in the first quarter.
- Darcy Spark scored her first goal of the match with 29 seconds remaining in the second quarter.
- Spark and Jessica Ross scored the other two Spartan goals in the third quarter, while Taylor Fisher scored the team’s final goal with 2:33 left in the match.
- Tatianna Raffin and Larke Eslinger split time in goal.
