COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo—San Jose State women’s gymnast Kaviana Jurries has been recognized as the Mountain West Vault Specialist of the Week for her performance last week.
Jurries won her second consecutive vault title at a dual meet hosted by Utah State. She scored a career-best 9.875 to win the event. She is the second Spartan this season to record a 9.875 on vault.
UP NEXT – The Spartans open the home portion of the 2026 schedule this Sunday, February 1, with a tri-meet against Southern Utah and Texas Woman’s. The meet begins at 2 p.m., with doors opening at 12:30 p.m., at the Provident Credit Union Event Center. Youth 12 & under are free.
