SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State men’s basketball team (5-10, 0-4 MW) will face Grand Canyon (9-5, 2-1 MW) at Global Credit Union Arena on Saturday at 5 p.m. PT. The game can be watched on Mountain West Network and can be heard on KTRB 860 AM.

  • Washington is averaging the second most minutes per game in the Mountain West this season. His averages of 11.1 points and 3.3 assists per game are big jumps from his freshman season where he averaged 4.4 ppg and 1.0 apg
  • Washington also leads the Spartans in steals with 1.2 steals per game
  • Pasha Goodarzi is shooting .433 from three this season
  • Over the last four games, Melvin Bell Jr. averaged 13.5 ppg including a career-high 16 points against Fresno State
  • Marcus Overstreet is averaging 15.2 rebounds per 40 minutes, the highest on the team
  • Ben Roseborough is currently averaging 10.0 points per game. The last Spartan freshman to average more than 10 points per game was Keith Fisher III in 2017-18
