The No. 16 San José State women’s water polo team opens the home portion of the 2026 season this weekend with two Mountain Pacific Sports Federation matches against two of the top-five teams in the country.
The Spartans face No. 3 Southern California on Saturday and No. 5 Arizona State on Sunday. Both matches begin at 1 p.m. inside the SRAC. Admission is free to all matches.
San José State enters the weekend with a 5-6 overall record and a five-match winning streak after going 4-0 last weekend at the Bronco Invitational.
Darcy Spark leads the team in scoring with 42 goals. Last weekend, she scored eight goals against Pomona-Pitzer and has scored seven goals against Fresno State and Cal State Monterey Bay.
Bridget Cranley is second on the team in scoring with 19 goals. She scored six times against CSUN and has scored three goals in three other matches.
Rose Jensen has scored 18 goals and assisted on 11 goals. She scored four goals in the first contest against Fresno State and three goals versus Marist and Pomona-Pitzer.
Goal Tatianna Raffin has made 96 saves on the season.
