SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Ahmiya Noriega had a perfect game at the plate, going 3-for-3 with four RBI against Manhattan (3-8, 0-0 MAAC) to lead the San José State softball team (3-10, 0-0 MW) in a 15-3 victory in six innings at the Mustang Classic on Saturday from Bob Janssen Field.
The Spartans scored in four straight innings, including a six-run sixth to seal the win.
Reina Zermeno sparked a three-run third with a two-run homer to give SJSU the lead for good.
Shay McDowell (3-for-4, three RBIs) and Leata Sherlin (3-for-4) also recorded three-hit games as the Spartans went 10-for-17 with runners in scoring position.
In the circle, Norah Coulsell tossed a complete game, allowing three runs while striking out three.

- Kaylani Lim pinch-hit and went 1-for-1 with an RBI
