FULLERTON, Calif. — Soledad Fayos Capilla won six games to lead the San José State women’s tennis team (4-2, 0-0 MW), which dropped a 4-0 decision to Cal State Fullerton (6-2, 2-0 Big West) on Sunday from Titan Courts.
Doubles Competition
The Titans took an early lead by securing the doubles point with victories on courts two and three.
- Court 2: Tara Mihaljevic and Camila Celis fell 6-2.
- Court 3: Fayos Capilla and Cristina Mateos Losada were defeated 6-1.
Singles Competition
Fullerton maintained their momentum in singles play, clinching the overall match with wins on courts two, three, and four. Matches on courts one, five, and six remained unfinished once the dual was decided.
- Court 2: Fayos Capilla dropped her match 6-3, 6-3.
- Court 3: Emma Fantousis fell 6-1, 6-3.
- Court 4: Tara Mihaljevic was bested 6-2, 6-2.
