
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State baseball team has announced its schedule for the 2026 season. This season will mark the ninth season under the helm of head coach Brad Sanfilippo.
- The Spartans will open the season on the road in a three game series against Long Beach State from Feb. 13-15
- The Spartans will play their home opener on Feb. 17 against Cal Poly, followed by a home game against Santa Clara on Feb. 18. Next, SJSU will play a split home and away series against the University of San Francisco from 20-22.
- The Spartans will then have another split home and away series against Saint Mary's from Feb. 26 - March 1
- The Spartans will play 14 consecutive games at home from Feb. 28 - March 22
- The Spartans will host a three game series against the University of Pittsburgh from March 6-8
- The Spartans will host Bay Area rival Cal on March 10 at Excite Ballpark and on April 15 at Stu Gordon Stadium
- The Spartans will open Mountain West conference play against New Mexico in a three game series taking place from March 13-15 at Excite Ballpark
- The Spartans will play a double-header on March 20 against UCONN and San Diego State at Excite Ballpark. The Spartans will also face San Diego State again on March 21 and UCONN on March 22 at home. Both of these games against San Diego State will count as non-conference games
- The Spartans will play two games on the road against Fresno State on April 17 and 18. Both games will also not count towards Mountain West Conference play
- The Spartans will host Grand Canyon University for the first time since the Antelopes joined the Mountain West from May 1-3.
- The Spartans will conclude the 2026 regular season at home in a three game series against Fresno State from May 14-16, a rematch from the 2025 Mountain West Championship game
- The Mountain West Championships will take place from May 20-23 in Mesa, Ariz
