COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—San José State women’s gymnasts Sophie Patterson and Kylee Larson have earned weekly honors from the Mountain West after their performances last week.
Sophie Patterson – Beam Specialist of the Week, Freshman of the Week
Patterson earned the beam honor after receiving a 9.925 at the tri-meet at Sacramento State with California. She finished second on the beam at that meet. Her 9.925 was also the best score by any freshman in the conference to earn her fourth Freshman of the Week honor.
Kaylee Larson – Floor Specialist of the Week
Larson earned her first Mountain West honor as she scored a 9.900 on floor to tie for first at the Spartan Quad meet this past Sunday.
UP NEXT – The Spartans travel to Air Force for a meet this Friday night against the Falcons and Denver. The meet will begin at 7 p.m. MT/6 p.m. PT, and will be shown live on the Mountain West Network
