COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – San José State’s Zoe Ewell and Ethan Fong have been named to the Mountain West All-Conference team following their standout performances at the 2026 Mountain West Indoor Track & Field Championships. The Spartan duo combined for two podium finishes over the three-day event held at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
- Ewell placed first in the women’s 200m dash prelim with a time of 23.95 on the first day of the championships.
- On the second day of the event, Ewell placed first in the women’s 60m dash prelim in both of her heats and overall out of 25 competitors with a time of 7.30.
- She rounded out the weekend on the podium, placing second in the women’s 60m dash final with a time of 7.33.
- On the second day of the Mountain West Indoor Championships, Fong placed third in the men’s long jump, jumping 7.49m (24’ 7”).
- He finished the championships with a podium finish, coming in second in the men’s triple jump, jumping 15.25 (50’ 0 ½”).
