WACO, Texas – The San José State Track & Field team delivered strong performances today at the Baylor Invitational, led by Tyson Bonilla, who placed first in the men’s long jump with a mark of 6.88m (22-07.00).
- Marcel Bovell secured second place in the men’s 400 hurdles with a time of 52.98
- The men’s 4x100 relay team, consisting of Spencer Gray, Aiden Stalnecker, Jared Jones, and Nathaniel Guillory, placed third with a time of 40.24
- The women's 4x100 relay team of Zoe Ewell, Sharli’e McCuller, Leila Champion, and Nakai Johnson finished fourth with a time of 46.75
- Guillory also excelled in the men's 100m, winning his heat and finishing fourth overall with a time of 10.60
- In the men’s 110 hurdles, Julius Baker took third place with a time of 14.30, followed closely by his teammate Hayden Bowne in fourth with a time of 14.48
- Audrey McElmurry finished fourth in the women’s triple jump, recording a distance of 12.28m (40-03.50)
UP NEXT: The Spartans will compete on April 16-18 at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., and the Mt. Sac Relays in Walnut, Calif.
