Spartans Secure Personal Bests at Bryan Clay Invitational and Mt. SAC Relays

WALNUT & AZUSA, Calif. – Myla Easley led the way by placing second in the women's long jump, setting a personal best with a jump of 5.80m (19’ 0 ½”) on the last day of the Bryan Clay Invitational.

The women's 4x100 team, consisting of Zoe Ewell, Nakai Johnson, Sharli’e McCuller, Leila Champion, and Vivienne Magu, placed eighth with a time of 45.35

  • Dontae Smith had a season's best time in the men’s 400m dash, with a time of 47.35, placing thirteenth 
  • Tyson Bonilla placed eighth in men’s long jump, jumping 7.20m 23’ 7 ½”
  • Spartans also competed in events like the women’s 100m hurdles, the men’s 400m dash, and the women’s and men’s 400m hurdles at the Bryan Clay Invitational
  • Spartans also competed in the men’s 4x100 relay at the Mt. SAC Relays
