SAN JOSE, Calif.— Cristina Mateos Losada won in the first set of her match to lead the San José State women's tennis team (7-10, 0-7 MW) in a 4-0 loss against Boise State (14-3, 6-1 MW) on Thursday afternoon from the Spartan Tennis Complex.
- The Spartans lost the doubles point after valiant efforts on courts one and two.
- Tara Mihaljevic fell short in her singles match, 6-1, 6-1.
- Camila Celis dropped her match, 6-1, 6-0.
- Soledad Fayos Capilla slipped her match on court three, 6-2, 6-2.
- Duru Durgun competed on court one in a tight matchup going into tiebreaks in the first set, but left her match unfinished.
- Mateos Losada won in her first set, 6-3, before also leaving her match unfinished.
