The San José State beach volleyball team begins play at the 2026 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship on Wednesday, April 22, at Spiker Beach in Huntington Beach, Calif.
The Spartans enter the tournament at the 10th-seed and will face the 7th-seeded LSU on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. The winner of the match will face the two-seed UCLA on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. The loser of the match will play the loser of Stanford-Washington/Oregon on Thursday at 9:45 a.m.
San José State enters the tournament with a 9-19 record and is led by Grace Baker and Kaia Fanshier who have a 13-11 record this season.
This is the first appearance for San José State in the MPSF Tournament after playing the past three seasons in the Southland Conference.
All matches are streamed on BIG+ on Wednesday and Thursday, while Friday’s semifinals and finals will be shown live on BTN.
