BERKELEY, Calif.—Kylee Moore and Anna Salmon won their dual Friday afternoon as the San José State beach volleyball team fell in a pair of duals to UC Davis, 5-0, and No. 9 California, 4-1, at the Clark Kerr Sand Courts in Berkeley.

  • Moore and Salmon won in straight sets, 21-19, 21-17, over the Golden Bears.
  • Kaia Fanshier and Grace Baker extended their first set against the Cal pair before falling 22-20, 21-17.
  • Earlier in the day against UC Davis. Fanshier and Randi Reeves forced a longer first set before falling, 23-21, 21-18.
  • Sabrina Moore and Salmon also pushed their first before falling 23-21, 21-16.

UP NEXT – The Spartans face these same two teams Saturday at 9 a.m. (UC Davis) and 11:30 a.m. (No. 9 California) in Berkeley at the Clark Kerr Sand Courts.
