TORONTO - San José State linebacker Jordan Pollard has officially signed a professional contract with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). One of the most prolific tacklers in Spartan history, Pollard joins the CFL after a decorated four-year career in the South Bay.
A native of Los Angeles, California, and a product of Faith Lutheran High School, Pollard departed San José State as a two-time All-Mountain West First Team selection (2024, 25). His 2025 campaign solidified his status as one of the nation’s premier defensive anchors.
Pollard concluded his time in the Blue and Gold with 353 total tackles, a mark that ranks ninth all-time in SJSU history. His career stat line reflects his versatility and high-motor play style.
