Spartans Host 79th Western Intercollegiate Presented by Titleist on Golf Channel

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The San José State men’s golf team is set to host the 79th Western Intercollegiate presented by Titleist, one of collegiate golf’s most prestigious events, from April 13–15 at the renowned Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz, Calif.

Live coverage of the tournament will be broadcast nationally on GOLF Channel. Three hours of coverage will be broadcast each day beginning at 4:00 p.m. (PT) on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Among the 15 participating programs are some of the nation’s top teams, including:

The event will also showcase 13 players currently ranked in the Top 100 of the NCAA Division I Men’s Individual Rankings

Pasatiempo Golf Club will be set up as a par-70, measuring 6,511 yards, offering a challenging test for the field.

Admission is free and open to the public, making it a perfect opportunity for golf fans and the local community to experience high-level collegiate golf. Shuttles will be available from the parking areas.
