
SAN JOSE, Calif. - Luke Howard, a 6-9 forward transfer from Simon Fraser University will join the San José State men’s basketball team for the 2026-27 season, as announced by head coach Tim Miles.

- Joins the Spartans for his senior season
- Averaged 16.7 points and 6.1 rebounds and shot .417 from three and .484 from the field in 24 games at Simon Fraser last season
- Played at Northwest University in 2023-24 where he was named first team all-conference and averaged 19.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game
- Spent his first two collegiate seasons at Lipscomb and also played a season at Biola
- In high school, for two seasons at Harding Academy in Memphis, Tenn.
- Played at Abbotsford Senior High School in British Columbia prior to time with Harding
- Tennessee Mr. Basketball Finalist
- Scored 1,350 points in two years at Harding Academy
- His sister, Emily Howard, played basketball at Liberty and Boise State
