LOUISVILLE, KY. - San José State senior infielder Reina Zermeno has been named to the 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division I Third Team All-Region (West), as announced by the organization on Thursday. This is the first All-Region selection of her career.
Zermeno, a 2026 First-Team Mountain West nominee, started in nearly every game this season for the Spartans, missing only one, and led the team in almost every offensive category. She hit for a .376 avg and hit career-highs in almost every offensive category. She finished her career with a .352 avg and has cemented herself into the record books for the Spartans.
This is the second year in a row that a Spartan has earned an NFCA All-Region selection. Ahmiya Noriega was named NFCA D1 Third Team All-Region (West) last season.

- Hit two home runs in a single game while going 3-for-3 at the plate against No.22 Grand Canyon (3/22)
- Went 6-for-7 against Utah State and collected eight RBIs in two games
- Had 14 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI games
