Iyer and Mungali Named to All-Mountain West Men’s Golf Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Following a historic regular season for the San José State men’s golf program, senior Avinash Iyer and junior Keshav “KC” Mungali have been named to the 2025-26 All-Mountain West Men’s Golf Team, as announced by the conference office on Friday.

The honors come as the Spartans prepare to send a program-record three individuals—Iyer, Mungali, and senior Ivan Barahona—to the 2026 NCAA Men’s Golf Corvallis Regional, which begins Monday, May 18, at Trysting Tree Golf Club.

These are the first All-Mountain West honors for the Spartans since Sean Yu was named to the team in the 2019-20 season and the first time the Spartans had a pair since Kevin Velo joined Yu on the 2018-19 team.
