BOISE, Idaho - Ahmiya Noriega goes 2-for-2 with a double to lead the San José State softball team (15-33, 7-18 MW) to an 11-0 five-inning loss to Boise State (25-30, 11-14 MW) to conclude the 2026 season on Saturday morning from Huber Field at Dona Larsen Park.
The Broncos put up runs in every inning, starting off with a three-run first inning.
Noriega collected her first hit at the top of the first inning with a single down the third base line. She then collected her double in the top of the fourth with a double down the left field line.
Gigi Ortega singled up the middle on two outs in the final inning of the matchup.
- Haley Reeve reached base on a walk in the fifth, closing the season with a nine-game on-base streak
- Noriega's double is her seventh of the season
- Reina Zermeno finishes the season leading the team in every offensive category, excluding walks
- Carly Cummings drew the most walks on the team, drawing 23
