CLOVIS, Calif. – The San José State Track & Field team posted strong results in their final tune-up before the Mountain West Championships, highlighted by a first-place finish from Audrey McElmurry in the women's triple jump, jumping 12.51 41’ 0 ½”.
- The men's 4x100 relay team, consisting of Spencer Gray, Aiden Stalnecker, Jared Jones, and David Botts, finished second with a time of 40.33.
- Hayden Bowne placed third in the men's 110 hurdles with a time of 14.09, followed by teammate Julius Baker in fourth (14.13).
- Zoe Ewell placed fourth in the women's 200m dash (23.70), with Sharli’e McCuller close behind in seventh (24.33).
- Tyson Bonilla placed fourth in the men's long jump with a mark of 6.82m (22’ 4 ½”).
- Zion Shelton placed fifth in the men's 400m hurdles with a time of 57.62, followed by teammate Aaron Adamos in seventh (1:00.89).
- Alexander Walker placed sixth in the men's 1500 with a time of 3:54.46.
- Nathaniel Guillory placed seventh in the men's 100m dash with a time of 10.66.
UP NEXT: The Spartans will compete in the Mountain West Championships in Clovis, Calif., May 14 through May 16.
