SAN JOSE, Calif. - San José State is proud to announce the hiring of Adrianna Noriega as the new assistant coach and director of operations for the Spartan softball program, announced by head coach Tammy Lohmann on Monday.
Noriega joins the program following her playing career for the Spartans and spending the last two seasons as a graduate assistant.
"Adrianna has been an integral member of our program both as a player and graduate assistant, and elevating her into this new role was an easy decision," said Lohmann. "She has demonstrated great leadership and I know she will continue to propel our program forward with her ability to connect with our athletes, her passion for the game, and her understanding of what it means to be a part of the Spartan softball family."
An All-Mountain West First Team honoree and an Academic All-Mountain West honoree. She was known for her academic success, versatility across the field and reliability at the plate. Initially started her playing career at Fresno State prior to transferring to SJSU in 2023.
