SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State women's soccer team (0-0-0) will open the 2026 slate by hosting crosstown rival Santa Clara (0-0-0) on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 7:00 p.m.

- Paige Fry, Paige Pineda-Aliamus and Indigo Sims were named to the 2026 MW Women's Soccer Watch List
- This is the second consecutive time that Fry has been nominated to the watch list
- The Spartans will feature nine freshmen, four transfers and 15 returners
- Pineda-Aliamus scored the most goals on the season with seven and finished sixth in the MW
- Fry finished the season with 88 saves in conference play, good for third in the MW
