PALO ALTO, Calif. — Katarina Brajovic won in both doubles and singles to conclude the San José State women’s tennis team’s time at the ITA Regional Championships on Saturday at Stanford.
- Brajovic defeated Portland’s Kennedy Harris in singles, 6-0, 6-2, shutting her opponent out in the first set.
- Soledad Fayos Capilla won in straight sets over Eastern Washington’s Veronika Gayevyk, 6-4, 6-2.
- Emma Fantousis dominated Oregon’s Bridget Mihulka, 6-3, 6-0.
- In doubles, Brajovic and Nitika Girish defeated UC Davis’ Lyla van Loben Sels and Penelope Wong, 6-3.
- Fantousis and Fayos Capilla fell to Oregon’s Tilde Jagare and Virginia Crocker, 6-4.
- Cristina Mateos Losada and Camila Celis were topped by UC Davis’ Isabella Bringas and Delilah Rizvi, 6-2.
- Mateos Losada came up short against Portland State’s Kasumi Hirayama in singles, 6-7 (0-7), 4-6.
