The San José State women’s swimming and diving team opens the 2026-27 schedule with a home meet this Saturday, October 10, against Nevada at the SRAC beginning at 11 a.m.

- The Spartans return 19 swimmers and divers from last year’s team including Vilma Lindberg who holds the 50 breaststroke record and is fourth all-time in the 100 and 200 breaststroke.
- The school-record-setting 400 medley relay team of Genevieve George, Lindberg, Lillie Grover and Dalton Sickon returns after setting the top mark at 3:38.91 at the 2026 Mountain West Championships.
- Grover returns after swimming the second-fastest times in the 100 and 200 butterfly.
- George holds the second-fastest time in school history in the 200 individual medley and is third in the 400 IM. She also has the
- Dalton Sickon is fifth all-time in the 50 free and was part of the third-fastest 200 free relay in school history.
- Karlee Marusik is seventh all-time in the 100 back and eighth in the 200 back.
- Stephanie Sifferman is fifth all-time in the 100 butterfly, eighth in the 200 fly and 11th in the 200 free.
- Elinor Windram sits seventh all-time in platform diving.
UP NEXT – The Spartans travel to the Central Valley for the Fresno State Invite on October 16 and 17 at the Aquatics Center on the Fresno State campus. San José State returns home for a meet with Pacific and UC Santa Cruz on October 31, beginning at noon.
