2020: Had a 7-4 record during the shortened season…paired with Summer Vercruyssen and Kiley Lingenfelter in the fourth position…started year with a 3-2 record with Vercruyssen…two of the three wins were in three sets…had a 4-2 record with Lingenfelter…all four wins in straight sets.
2019: Recorded a 9-14 record…started the season partnered with Ciara Reistad in the third position and had a 4-7 record…then partnered with Fernanda Vido for eight matches…the pair had a 2-2 record in the third position and a 2-2 record in the fourth spot…played the final four matches with Sarah Smevog.
2018: Had a 3-1 record for the season in the fifth position…started the season playing exhibition matches with Summer Avery and Breann Robinson…played her final four matches of the season with Avery in the fifth position…won their first three matches before falling in three sets at #4 Cal Poly.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Christian Brothers High School in 2017…four-year letterwinner and starter for head coach Jamea Todd…two-time All-Capital Athletic League honoree… team faced Archbishop Mitty in the first round of the 2016 CIF State Girls Volleyball Championship after winning the CIF Sac-Joaquin Division III Section with a 3-0 victory against Sonora…played at the 33rd annual Optimist All-Star game in Sacramento on the Division II South team…played club for Northern California Volleyball Club…earned five Open Division Junior Olympic bids…her 16s team (Five Starz) won the national championship in the national division in 2015.
PERSONAL: Majoring in nutritional science…would like to be a dietitian or possibly work in sports nutrition…likes hiking and being near the ocean…Academic All-Mountain West honoree…Ryann Marie Thomison was born in Sacramento, Calif.
