Camilla Hanson Season 2016

SJSU NOTES: Has competed for four seasons as a Spartan.

2020: INDOOR - Opened the season with a mark of 5:18.81 in the 1 Mile and a 2:28.19 in the 800 at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Collegiate Invitational (Jan. 25)...OUTDOOR – Season canceled due to coronavirus pandemic.    

2019: Highlight of the regular season was a 2:16.97 in the 800 at the Rainbow Relays...Placed 15th in the 1500 at the Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a 5:04.28. 

2018: Highlight of the regular season was a 4:41.42 in the 1500 at the Bulldog Invitational...Placed 18th in the 1500 at the Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a 5:00.57.

2017: Highlight of the season was a 12:24.14 in the 3000 at the Sacramento State Hornet Invitational...Hit a mark of 5:15.11 in the 1500 at the Fresno State Invitational. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2016 graduate of Clovis North High School in Fresno, Calif...was a four-year letter winner in cross country (coach Jason Lienaw) and track (coach Richard Brazil)...two-time All-Tri River Athletic Conference (TRAC) honoree and two time all-valley in cross country…team earned cross country TRAC championship in 2013 and the Central Section championship in 2014 & 2015…part of the 2013 & 2014 TRAC Track & Field Championship squad which also captured the 2014 Central Second championship…four-time Fresno Bee All-Star...best times 5K (18:28), 2 mile (11:18), 1 mile (5:08), 800M (2:19).

GET TO KNOW CAMILLA: Majoring in biomedical engineering...enjoys reading and going on adventures in her spare time...hopes to pursue a career in medical research after graduation.
