2018: Competed and scored in all five races...was the third Spartan across the finish line in each race...best 8k time of the season, a 25:03.1, was run at the Stanford Invitational (9/29)...in the season opener at the USF Cross Country Invitational (9/1), he finished in 18th, his highest placing of the year...in the final race of his collegiate cross country career, he ran his best 10k time, a 30:41.2 at the NCAA West Regional Championships (11/9).
2017: Competed in five races, scoring in each… Was the first Spartan across the finish line in each of his races… Best 8k time (24:26.6) came at the Bronco Invitational (10/14) where he finished 27th… Had two top-15 finishes – 12th at the USF Invitational and 13th at the Capitol Cross Challenge (9/30), where he ran 26:16.5 and 24:49.7… Had two of the team’s three sub-25 minute 8ks on the season… Led the team with a 39th and 69th place finish at the Mountain West Championship and NCAA West Regional Championship, respectively.
2016: Competed six times… Set personal bests in both 8K and 10K races… At the Bronco Invitational/Santa Clara Duel (10/15) ran a collegiate-best 24:35.5 for 8k and finished 25th/4th… In the second NCAA West Regional Championship ran 31:13.5 and finished 74th, both bests for his career… Ran three sub-25 minute 8Ks.
2015: Competed in six races for the Spartans... Season best 31st place finish at the 6K Fresno State Invitational with a time of 19:16.3... Best 8K finish came at the USF Invitational with a 37th place finish.
Spring Season Track Highlights: Competed in the three 1,500m races, improving each time... Ran a personal record 3:57.91 at the West Coast Last Chance meet (5/14).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 graduate of Merrill F. West High School in Tracy, Calif... Competed in cross country, track and field, basketball and golf... Ran track for coach T.J. Williams... Personal bests of 2:03.36 - 800 meters, 10:07 - 3,200 meters.
