A 2018 second-team Southern League selection, team’s Most Valuable Player and team captain as a sophomore... Was in on 49 tackles and was third on the squad with 9.0 tackles for loss. Also used occasionally as a running back during his community college career.

Besides linebacker, also saw action as a defensive lineman as a sophomore, fullback as a junior and punter and long snapper his senior season... The 2016 Grossmont Valley League’s Co-Defensive Player of the Year and a two-time first-team all-league player... Concluded his high school football career playing in the 2017 San Diego County vs. Inland Empire football all-star game... A sprinter, shot put and discus thrower, and long jumper in track and field.
