AT SAN JOSÉ STATE: In his fifth season with the Spartans... 25 games played and three starts... A running back candidate... Had some 2013 practice as a linebacker before settling into a running back role... First joined the program in 2012.
2015: Appeared in all 13 games… Used as in a traditional fullback role and special teams player… Only carry of the season was for one yard at Oregon State (9/19).
2014: Played in all 12 games primarily in as a fullback... Had six carries for 14 yards... Gained a first-down in short yardage situations on four of his six rushing attempts.
2013: Was one of the team's two fullbacks... Did not see any game action.
2012: A redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach Craig Holden) at Benicia (Calif.) High... Two-time first-team All-Solano County Athletic Conference and All-Solano County selection... Played running back and linebacker his 2011 senior season... Team's leading tackler with 99 stops, 2.0 quarterback sacks, and a fumble recovery for a touchdown... Averaged 4.5 yards per carry rushing for 113 yards and one touchdown... Caught 38 passes for 359 yards and five scores... As a junior, led his team with 7.0 quarterback sacks... Second on the 2010 team in pass receiving with 27 catches for 308 yards and three touchdowns.
