AT SAN JOSE STATE: Completed five seasons with the Spartans... 44 games played and 36 starts... A three-year starter at right guard... Also has playing experience at tight end and on selected special teams... A four-time Mountain West All-Academic team award winner... A two-time Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar award recipient... Signed a National Letter-of-Intent in February 2013.
2017: Honorable mention All-Mountain West... Was the only starter on offense to start in all 13 games... One of four seniors starting in the offensive line.
2016: Played and started in 10 games all at right guard... Part of the offensive line that created opportunities for the Spartans to score 66 points in the Portland State win ((9/10) - the most points San José State scored in a game since scoring 70 in the 2004 season.
2015: Started all 13 games at right guard... One of four sophomore starters in the offensive line... Helped produce and pave the way for an offense that was just the second in the univeirsity's modern era of college football to score at least 20 rushing and 20 passing touchdowns in a season.
2014: Saw action in eight games, primarily as a reserve tight end... Also was prepared to be a reserve offensive lineman.
2013: Finished the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: The 2012 Santa Fe League Defensive Player of the Year for Salesian High in Los Angeles (Coach Roddy Hiatt)... A two-time All-C.I.F. football selection.... Credited with 68 tackles, three forced fumbles, and a blocked punt in 2012... An All-Pioneer League and an All-C.I.F. choice and received his team's Academic Scholar Award as a junior at Torrance (Calif.) High... A shot put and discus thrower for the Torrance High track and field team... A 2012 C.I.F. Southern Section Division II finalist in the shot put.
