2017: Saw action in nine games and was a starter five times... Starter the first two games of the season vs. USF (South Florida - 8/26) and Cal Poly (9/2) then for three consecutive contests - Utah State (9/23), UNLV (9/30) and Fresno State (10/7)... Completed 54.1 percent of his passes for 928 yards and five touchdowns... Statistically best game of his college career was at UNLV throwing for 315 yards and one touchdown...Completed a personal single-game best 30 passes at UNLV... Season-high two TD passes both in the first half vs. USF... Best game may have been at Hawai'i (10/14) completing 4-of-6 passes for 59 yards and two first downs during one fourth quarter possession.
2016: Appeared in all 12 games... Starting quarterback at Iowa State (9/24)... Threw passes in five games... Most effective outing was against Utah (9/17) when he replaced injured starter Kenny Potter near the end of the third quarter... Finished the Utah game completing 11-of-21 passes with an interception for 184 yards and a 46-yard touchdown pass to running back Zamore Zigler...
