Was credited with a quarterback sack in the UNLV victory (11/2) and against San Diego State (11/9) and Navy (11/22)... Had at least one tackle in 11 of the team[apos]s 12 games... Matched his single-game high of five tackles in the Nevada contest (11/16)... One fumble recovery was in the San Diego State game and resulted in a Spartan touchdown.
2012: Played in eight games as a reserve defensive end ... Credited with nine tackles and a tackle for loss... Career-high five tackles which included a tackle for loss in the New Mexico State win (11/10)... Had a pair of tackles in the UTSA (10/20) and Idaho (11/3) victories.
2011: Played in seven games as a reserve defensive end and on special teams...First tackle of his major college career was for a 3-yard loss in the Hawai[apos]i victory (10/14).
2010: Completed the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 CalHiSports first-team all-state selection...The 2009 Del Rey League Defensive Lineman of the Year and a first-team All-CIF selection for Division III state champion Serra High of Gardena, Calif. (Coach Scott Altenberg)...130 total tackles, 17.0 quarterback sacks and a fumble recovery in 2009...Credited with 55 tackles, 3.0 quarterback sacks and a fumble recovery as a junior...Three-sport letterwinner was a middle blocker in volleyball team and a sprinter on the track team.
