One of three Spartan defensive linemen with at least one tackle in all 12 games... Finished with 33 tackles for the season.
2010: Played in 12 games and was a starting defensive tackle beginning with the Wisconsin game (9/11)... Remained a starter for the next eight games through the Utah State contest (11/13)... Credited with 23 tackles (8 solo, 15 assisted), 1.5 tackles for loss and 2 pass break-ups... Was in on at least one tackle in each of the first 10 games of the season...Season-high four stops at New Mexico State (10/30) and Utah State... Had his first solo tackle for loss in the Southern Utah win (9/18).
2009: Spent the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 CalHiSports first-team Division II all-state selection for Helix High (Coach Troy Starr) in San Diego, Calif... The 2008 Grossmont League South Division Defensive Player of the Year and a first-team All-C.I.F. San Diego Section selection in his only season playing as a lineman... Was a first-team all-league linebacker as a sophomore and junior.
