AT SAN JOSÉ STATE: Third season with the Spartans... Competing for playing time at offensive right tackle... Returned to the offensive side of the ball for the 2014 season after a season at defensive tackle... Became a Spartan during the February 2012 signing period.
2013: Saw action in 11 games mostly on special teams... Was part of a kick-blocking unit that tied for first nationally accumulating seven blocked PATs and field goals attempts... Credited with a first-quarter field goal block in the San Diego State game (11/9)... A reserve defensive tackle who was in on an assisted tackle at Minnesota (9/21) and two stops against Utah State (9/27).
2012: Completed a redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A three-star prospect according to rivals.com, espn.com and scout.com from Independence High in San José (Coach Norman Brown)... A two-time first-team All-Central Coast Section and league Offensive Lineman of the Year... Concluded his high school career playing in the 2011 Cal State All-Star Football Game in Fresno, Calif... A three-sport letterwinner also lettered in basketball and track... Threw the shot put and the discus.
