2015: Played in all 13 games... Starter in nine contests... Used primarily as a blocking back for Tyler Ervin who set the San Jose State single-season rushing record and finished 11th nationally in rushing yards with 1,601... Had his best season as a pass receiver with a personal single-season best of seven receptions... Was the team leader in yards per catch at 17.3... Had his career long 42-yard reception in the season-opening win over New Hampshire (9/3)... Only rushing attempt on the season was a 3-yard gain as part of a 61-yard touchdown drive in the Fresno State victory (9/26)... Had the role of play caller and punt protector among his special teams duties and contributed to San Jose State setting a single-season team record with a 42.4 yard net punting average... Credtited with three special teams tackles... Recovered a muffed punt in the Oregon State contest (9/19) that led to a San Jose State touchdown drive.
2014: Played in 11 games and was a starter five times at a running back position... Only carry of the season came in the Utah State game (11/21)... Had a personal single-game best of three receptions in the season-opening North Dakota win (8/28) and scored on a 3-yard TD reception... Also had a reception in the UNLV win (10/4)... Served as a punt protector and was as an effective special teams defender... Was credited with six tackles.
2013: Earned the number-one fullback role during preseason drills... Played in all 12 games... Officially a starter three times... Effective blocker for a ground game with each of the four backs averaging over 4.0 yards per carry... Carried the ball four times for four yards... Caught five passes for 49 yards and a touchdown... Scored a touchdown or gained a first down in five of the nine times he caught the ball... Rushed for first downs at Minnesota and hauled in passes that became first downs at Stanford, Colorado State and Nevada... Scored in the Wyoming win (10/26) on a 3-yard reception... Had a season-high two catches in the Colorado State victory (10/5)... Also credited four tackles for the season on turnovers and special teams play.
2012: Completed the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 CalHiSports.com first-team all-state choice for Los Gatos (Calif.) High (Coach Butch Cattolico)... Credited with 152 tackles and three forced fumbles for the California Division II champions... Also rushed for 312 yards and five TDs on 48 carries... A San Francisco Chronicle first-team All-Metro and a first-team All-Central Coast Section pick... The 2010 Most Valuable Defensive Player of the DeAnza League and a second-team All-Central Coast Section choice.
