2014: A second-team All-Mountain West wide receiver... Tied for 21st nationally and was second in the Mountain West in receptions per game... Finished with 78 receptions for 694 yards and a team-best five touchdowns... Sixth most receptions by a San Jose State player in a single season... Only Spartan to catch at least one pass in every game... Matched his career high of 10 receptions in the season-opening win over North Dakota (8/28) and against Hawai'i (11/15)... A personal single-game best two touchdown catches against North Dakota... His 28-yard touchdown was the Spartans only score at Minnesota (9/20)... Had the game-winning touchdown grab in the overtime victory at Wyoming (10/18).
2013: The 2013 Mountain West Freshman of the Year... Named to the Phil Steele, Athlon and CollegeFootball News.com Freshman All-America teams... Originally was ticketed for a redshirt season focusing on being a defensive back... Redshirt projection eliminated and a switch to offense took place early in the season... Did not have any game action until late in the third game of the season at Minnesota (9/21)... First major college reception came the following week against Utah State (9/27) - a 25-yard play that made ESPN's Plays of the Day... Exploded on to the scene the following week at Hawai'i (10/5) with six catches for 159 yards and a touchdown in his first major college start... Finished the season second on the team with 58 receptions for 858 yards and five touchdowns... Had four 100-plus yard receiving games with a season-best 171 yards on nine catches in the Wyoming win (10/26)... Spartans won each game in which he had 100 or more receiving yards... Was third nationally among freshmen in total receiving yards... Had the best yards per catch average (14.8) of any Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) freshman with 50 or more catches for the season... SAN JOSE JOSÉ MEN'S BASKETBALL: Played in one non-conference game in the 2014-15 season... Logged 21 minutes as a reserve guard in the Seattle U. game (12/13/14)... Scored 4 points on a three-point basket and a free throw and was credited with one rebound and one assist... His three-point basket came on his first shot attempt.
HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time Capital League Player of the Year who averaged 13.0 yards for the 155 times he touched the ball on offense as a junior and a senior for Antelope (Calif.) High (Coach Matt Ray)... Was the League's Offensive Player of the Year and a Sacramento Bee first-team All-Metro honoree as a senior... 57 receptions for 876 yards and 13 touchdowns on offense and 43 tackles and three pass interceptions as a defensive back in 2012... 2011 Capital League Defensive Player of the Year... 39 tackles, six interceptions and four pass break ups as a cornerback... Also lettered in basketball and in baseball as a centerfielder.
