AT CHAFFEY COLLEGE: A 2013 Region V all-state selection and a first-team Mountain Conference American Division choice from Chaffey College (Coach Rob Hadaway)... Played the tackle position as a sophomore and split time between center and guard as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Los Osos High (Coach Tom Martinez)... Was a wiry, 6-foot, 210-pounder who grew close to his present frame by his senior year.
