Scored San José State's only touchdown of the game on a 1-yard plunge in the second quarter... Credited with 18 rushes for 64 yards including the Spartans' longest run of the night - a 34-yard scamper prior to halftime... Most rushing yards by a San Jose State quarterback in a game since Adam Tafralis gained 97 yards on 15 carries in the 2007 Fresno State game... Most carries by a Spartan signal caller in a game since Jeff Garcia rushed 17 times at Southwestern Louisiana (Louisiana-Lafayette) in 1993... Quarterbacked the Spartans for the first six plays of the San Diego State game before an injury ended his afternoon... Completed 60.9 percent of his pass attempts and rushed for 80 yards and a TD on 19 carries in his two games... Named a Scout Team Player of the Year at the team's annual post-season awards banquet.
SAN JOSE STATE BASEBALL: Played in 46 games and made 11 starts in his three seasons... Used primarily as a pinch runner... 5-for-56 at the plate (.089) with 3 RBIs in his three seasons.
HIGH SCHOOL: A football (Coach Oscar Caballero) and baseball letterwinner at Willow Glen High in San José... Completed 60.6 percent of his passes for 2,111 yards and 19 touchdowns and ran for 692 yards and nine touchdowns in 10 games as a senior in 2011... Also shared the placekicking duties converting 13-of-20... A first-team all-league and second All-Mercury News Central Coast Section honoree... Batted .324 as a junior and .394 as a senior on the baseball team...
