HIGH SCHOOL: A punter and placekicker for two seasons at Eastlake High School in Sammamish, Wash. (Coaches Pat Parnell and Gene Dales)... Honorable mention 4A Kingco punter... Averaged close to 42 yards per punt and was 3-for-4 kicking field goals... Credited with 14 touchbacks as the team[apos]s kickoff specialist in 2012.
MORE ON ZACH: An engineering major... A second-generation college kicker... His dad, Larry Steinberg, was a four-year letterwinner (1986-89) and the number-one placekicker at Kent State from 1986 through 1988... Dad[apos]s marks (69-of-72 PAT[apos]s and 17-of-36 FG[apos]s) still rank him fourth for PAT[apos]s converted and seventh for FG[apos]s made in a career, respectively, at the school... The Cincinnati, Ohio native was born on February 28, 1995.
