Second on the team in number of pass receptions with a single-season personal best 35 catches... Caught at least one pass in 10 of the 12 games he played... Season-high five receptions each in the opener vs. USF (South Florida - 8/26), at UNLV (9/30) and at Hawai'i (10/14)... Scored San Jose State's only touchdown of the Fresno State game (10/7) on a 6-yard pass reception.
2016: Appeared in all 12 contests... Was a starter nine times... Had three receptions for the season... Scored his only touchdown of the season on a 1-yard catch vs. Utah (9/17)... Season-long 19-yard reception at Iowa State (9/24)... Caught one pass in the San Diego State (10/21) game.
2015: Played in all 13 games... A starter four times including each of the final three contests... Biggest reception of the season was his 1-yard over-the-head, back-to-the-endline fourth quarter touchdown catch with 2:40 remaining in the AutoNation Cure Bowl (12/19) victory versus Georgia State... Finished the season with four receptions... First major college start was in the Fresno State win (9/26) which also included his season-long 24-yard catch... Also caught a pass in the UNLV triumph (10/10) and against BYU (11/6).
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2014 all-state honoree by CalHiSports.com and MaxPreps.com... Played tight end and defensive end at Paso Robles (Calif.) High (Coach Rich Schimke)... Caught 42 passes for 608 yards and eight touchdowns during his junior and senior seasons... Averaged 18.1 yards per catch and had seven of his eight receptions result in touchdowns... Played outside linebacker and scored with two pass interceptions... Was named the San Luis Obispo County's, the C.I.F. Central Section's Northern Division and the Pac-5 League's Defensive Player of the Year... Was a forward on the boys' basketball team.
