AT SAN JOSE STATE: Completed three seasons with the Spartans... Played in 12 games with no starting calls... Was a tight end and played on special teams... First joined the team after the start of the 2014 season... One of the most improved players during 2016 spring practice.
2016: Played in all 12 games... Did not have any pass receptions... Played primarily on kickoff return and kick scoring special teams units.
2015: Completed a redshirt season.

COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Played two seasons for the College of San Mateo (Coach Bret Pollak)... Was named his team's Special Teams Most Valuable Player for blocking five kicks in 2013... Also blocked two kicks as a freshman in 2012.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach Karl Finley) and basketball at Washington High in San Francisco... Named first-team All-City tight end as a and the Academic Athletic Association's (AAA) Defensive Player of the Year as a senior... A second-team All-City choice in basketball as a senior.
