2017: Appeared in 10 contests and was a starting wide receiver in the season opener vs. USF (South Florida, 8/29)... Did not have any pass receptions during the season... Primarily used as the team's punt return specialist... Returned eight punts including a season-long 17-yard return against USF... Also had a 16-yard return at Nevada (11/11)... Safely handled 23 "fair catch" punt opportunities.
2016: Played in all 12 games... Caught 3 passes for 24 yards... Had receptions at New Mexico (10/1), at San Diego State (10/21) and at Boise State (11/4)... Became the Spartans' primary punt returner the third game of the season... Averaged 7.6 yards per punt return... Best game as a punt returner was against Hawai'i (10/8) with his season-best of 22 yards in the second quarter followed by a 20-yard return at the start of the third quarter.
2015: Played in seven games... Caught his first major college pass in the season-opening victory against New Hampshire (9/3)... Returned a kickoff for 17 yards in the Hawai'i victory (11/21).
2014: Finished the season as a redshirt.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach John Carroll) and track and field at Oceanside (Calif.) High... One of the most productive offensive players in 2012 and 2013 in San Diego County... Averaged 1,492 all-purpose yards per season and 7.0 yards per rushing attempt... Caught 115 passes for 1,458 yards and 15 touchdowns... Also averaged 33.8 yards per kickoff return and 16.6 on each punt return... One of six finalists for the 2013 Silver Pigskin Award emblematic of the top high school football player in San Diego County... The Most Valuable Player of the Avocado League, a first-team All-C.I.F. San Diego Section choice and his team's Most Valuable Player as a senior... A CalHiSports.com third-team all-state underclassman pick, All-C.I.F. San Diego Section, all-county and all-league choice as a junior. A sprinter and long jumper on the track and field team... Tied for sixth in the 100-meter dash at the 2013 C.I.F.
