Had a season-high nine tackles and his second forced fumble of the season vs. Utah (9/17)... Second on the squad with six pass break-ups... Tied for second on the team with two pass interceptions... Both interceptions came in wins against Nevada (10/15) and UNLV (10/29)... Interception vs. Nevada led to San Jose State's first touchdown of the game... Pick vs. UNLV came on the Rebels' final offensive play of the game.

Division I first-team Los Angeles City Section defensive back for Narbonne High (Coach Manuel Douglas) in Harbor City, Calif. ...Played all of the defensive backfield positions during his high school career... Was credited 11 pass break-ups and one interception as a senior and 14 pass break-ups and an interception his junior season...Also was named an All-Marine League and second-team Daily Breeze all-area defensive back.
