AT SAN JOSE STATE: In his second season with the Spartans... Competing for playing time as a running back... First joins the Spartans for 2019 fall drills... Signed a National Letter-of-Intent in December 2018... First name is pronounced I-dee.

2019: Completed a redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: A Most Valuable Player for two different schools in two different leagues in back-to-back seasons... Lettered in football (Coach Michael Peters) at McClymonds High in Oakland, Calif. ... Led McClymonds High to the 2018 California Interscholastic Federation Division 4A championship, the school’s third consecutive state title...  Oakland Athletic League’s Most Valuable Player for 2018... Rushed 115 times for 1,246 yards averaging 10.8 yards per carry and scored 21 touchdowns on the ground... Caught 17 passes for 284 yards... Was a safety on defense... Played his first three years of varsity football for Moreau Catholic High in Hayward, Calif. (Coach Andrew Cotter)... The 2017 Mission Valley League Offensive Player of the Year, a San Francisco Chronicle honorable mention All-Metro pick and an All-Bay Area News Group honorable mention choice... Scored 32 total touchdowns, 31 of them rushing in 2017...  Was used as a running back, outside linebacker and defensive back... A sprinter on the Moreau Catholic High track and field team his sophomore and junior seasons.
