AT SAN JOSÉ STATE: In his third season with the Spartans... Joined the Spartans for 2017 fall camp as a cornerback prospect... Signed a National Letter-of-Intent in February 2017.
2018: Completed a redshirt season.
2017: Saw action in nine contests... Primarily a reserve cornerback and special teams player... Credited with five tackles and a forced fumble for the season.. Season-high two tackles and a forced fumble that prevented a BYU touchdown and ignited a Spartan touchdown drive (10/28)... Also had two tackles in the Wyoming win (10/25)... Was used as a secondary punt returner... His 16-yard punt return at Hawai'i was the team's second longest of the season.
COMMUNITY COLLEGE: A 2016 first-team All-Northern Conference honoree for Cerritos College (Coach Frank Mazzotta)... Totaled 37 tackles, seven pass break-ups and three interceptions in his two seasons.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered in football (Coach John Barnes) and lacrosse at Los Alamitos (Calif.) High... Only played his senior season of football... Named his lacrosse team's "Offensive Player of the Year" as a junior and a senior.
