CHABOT COLLEGE:
- Played the 2018 season at Chabot College (Coach Eric Fanane)
- Was credited with 22 tackles, 5.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 quarterback sacks
- Forced a fumble and recovered a fumble in his one season with the Gladiators
NEW MEXICO MILITARY INSTITUTE:
- Began his college career in 2014
- Credited with 25 tackles and 2.0 tackles for loss in the eight games he played
HIGH SCHOOL:
- Lettered in football (Coach Filo Langkilde), baseball and track and field at Faasao Marist High in Pago Pago, American Samoa
- Played defensive line, linebacker, offensive line and running back during his high school career
- Was a team captain in football as a senior
- An outfielder in baseball
- Threw the shot put and discus his one season competing in track and field
PERSONAL: A sociology major ... Served a two-year church mission in Omaha, Neb., after his one year at New Mexico Military Institute ... Enjoys swimming and hiking ... Is a lifeguard at the San José State University Student Union Recreation and Events Center swimming pools ... Le-Anthony Grey, one of his two older brothers, was his teammate on the 2018 Chabot College football team ... His cousin, Kurt Taufa’asau, was a defensive lineman at the University of Wyoming during the 2011 and 2012 seasons who now is the defensive line coach at the New Mexico Military Institute ... Lando is a native of Honolulu, Hawai’i.
