Swetnam joined San José State in May of 2026 as the Assistant Coach, Athletic Performance. Swetman comes from UCLA.
EXPERIENCE:
UCLA Football:
- Served as Assistant Director of Performance.
- Assisted with strength and speed training, return-to-play integration, and athletic development.
- Contributed to the development of multiple All-Big Ten Conference student-athletes.
UCLA Olympic Sports:
- Designed and implemented training programs for baseball and men’s and women’s water polo, focusing on durability and movement quality.
Concordia University Irvine:
- Served as a Graduate Assistant for the Track & Field program.
USC Football:
- Began his collegiate career as a strength and conditioning intern.
