2014: Was the most experienced offensive lineman on the team... Anchored a unit that had three freshman starters... Played and started in each of the 12 games... Guarded the quarterback's blind side and was part of an offense that completed 60 percent of its passes for the fourth year in a row and gained more yards rushing despite a number of injuries at the running back and quarterback positions... Named the team's Scholar-Athlete for the third year in a row at the squad's annual awards banquet.
2013: One of three offensive linemen to play and start all 12 games... Key member of an offensive line that helped set a school record 493.2 yards of total offense per game... Provided consistent pass protection that allowed one sack every 23.6 pass attempts - an improvement of 5.6 more passes between sacks compared to 2012... Run blocking helped the team average 0.5 yards more per rush compared to the previous season.
2012: Played in seven games and was a starter at left tackle for the Colorado State victory (9/22)... Named the team's Scholar-Athlete at the team's annual awards banquet.
2011: Completed a redshirt season.
HIGH SCHOOL: A versatile offensive lineman at Chaparral High in Scottsdale, Ariz. (Coach Charlie Ragle)... Teams posted a combined 27-1 win-loss record in 2009 and 2010 Class 5A2 competition... As a senior, was an all-state selection by multiple outlets and was a first team all-city and all-region player... Two-sport letterwinner advanced to the 2010 Arizona state wrestling championships competing in the 189-pound division.
