2016-17: All-Mountain West First Team and All-Defensive Team choice … National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-District 17 first-team selection … The only three-time Mountain West "Player of the Week" honoree during the season … Finished 25th in the country with a 59.2 shooting percentage … His 2.57 blocks per game were good for 15th in Division I basketball and 77 total blocks ranked 20th … The only player in the Mountain West to finish top-three in per-game scoring, rebounding and blocked shots … Led the Spartans in per-game scoring (17.3) and rebounding (8.7) while averaging 2.6 blocks and 2.3 assists per contest … 19.3 points and 9.2 rebounds per Mountain West game … His 2.8 blocks per MW game were a league best … New single-season blocks leader with 77, and new single-game record holder for seven swats against UNLV (1/28) … The most efficient shooter in the Mountain West overall (59.2%, 219-370) and during league play (61.6%, 149-242) … Had 11 20-point games including a career-high 36 points in the win at Air Force (1/14) … Matched a career-high with 15 rebounds in the win over UNLV (1/28) … Career-high six assists in the win over Air Force (2/18).

 

2015-16: Appeared in all 31 games, making three starts … Voted the Six Man of the Year in the Mountain West by the league’s head coaches … 10.1 points and a team-leading 7.3 rebounds per game during conference play … Part of a true freshmen group which contributed 43.5 percent of SJSU’s scoring, which finished second in the country to Kentucky … All five double-doubles during the year came against Mountain West foes … Led SJSU with a season-high 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds lifting the Spartans to a 68-63 victory over Boise State in the regular season finale (3/5) … Blocked 39 shots to set a single-season freshman record at San José State … Finished with a double-double in both meetings against the rival Fresno State, including 14 points and season-high 15 rebounds when the Spartans beat the Bulldogs, 65-53, at home (2/3) … 15 points, 14 rebounds and a season-high five assists at UNLV (2/10) … Ended the year as SJSU’s most efficient shooter at 63.4 percent … Hit at least four shots from the field in the 12 of the last 14 regular season contests … Season-high five blocks in the win over Air Force (1/30) … Helped force two turnovers and blocked a shot during the final minutes to help SJSU secure its first Mountain West win at home on Jan. 13 versus Wyoming.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Ariz., where he was one of the state's top shot blockers … Rated as a top-five most versatile players by Arizona Power Basketball … Led Desert Vista to the Division I state championship game in 2015 … Named first-team All-Arizona Division I honoree by The Arizona Republic … Recorded 10 triple-doubles as a senior that included points, rebounds and blocks … 15.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 4.0 blocks as a junior.
